The Portmeirion Weekend in November is becoming an established event in the calendar for folder enthusiasts. This year we are hoping - technology permitting - to send an illustrated report to our web site each evening of the event.
Thursday morning was allocated to bike tests, with everyone having a chance to try all the bikes.
Riders gather for the testing session.
Steve Parry is seen here with his own SP Brompton and the latest addition he has made to it - a bag intended for use on a motorcycle, attached via a specially modified Brompton bag frame.
Derek Carpenter's load carrier IS a separable. Here David and Peter Henshaw are putting it through its paces.
After the testing session, I rode over to Harlech, where the SP is pictured against the background of the castle. It was hard work going out against the wind, but I managed to get back before rain set in.
Most of us will be leaving Portmeirion quite early on Friday, so there will not be a report on Friday - instead an overall report on the event will appear in FSN and in the web pages over the weekend. We hope that those of you who were unable to come will have enjoyed this opportunity to be involved in the event from a distance.
