MAIN FRAME: Any colour the Brompton factory will supply me with e.g. RED, WHITE, BLUE, BLACK, SILVER, GREEN, YELLOW.
Rear Pivot fitted with grease nipple and hole drilled to prevent spindle rotating, to remove bolts. Bottom bracket fitted with grease nipple to lube so-called sealed cartridge. RITCHEY LOGIC HEADSET is fitted to main frame.
REAR FRAME: All unnecessary braze-ons removed. New brake bridge fitted, this holds the mudguard on and supports the new seat pillar stop when bike is folded. Washers brazed on the dropouts to increase their thickness to help the operation of the quick release skewers. In the case of the 12 speed a boss is brazed on as a gear hanger. V brake bosses or drum brake slots and supports are added, filed down and powder coated black.
FORKS: Washers brazed on fork ends to aid the quick release hubs. Brazed on bosses for V brakes or drum and mudguard stay. Filed down and powder coated.
REAR SUSPENSION UNIT: Stainless steel hose clip fitted to prevent bio-pacing. Stainless steel hook fitted to prevent rear frame from folding unintentionally.
SADDLE: As this bike will be purchased by enthusiasts, I would hate to presume which type of saddle to fit. Therefore they are not supplied with the bike, unless you know which saddle is your favourite, up to the value of £30.
SEAT PILLAR: Either fixed or telescopic versions, 6000 series, hard anodised alloy. 600mm long fixed with micro adjust head or 500-800mm telescopic with quick release and micro adjust head.
SEAT CLAMP: TRANZ X type alloy fitted with recessed allen head nut.

REAR RACK | Made in tubular steel in two sections, the bottom section bolts securely to frame
by four points utilising the discarded wheels fixing points. The top section is held on by two quick release skewers and is removed for folding. It holds on a Brompton front luggage block and can carry a Brompton front pannier OR!!! |
